Whose who?: Satire in Paint @ Pace Gallery

Posted by admin on Monday, 11 May, 2009 at 11:06 PM. Filed under: News

[At last! ARTERI finally harassed intrepid gallery-goer Alex Yong into documenting his exhibition adventures for us. Exhibition openings are great places to meet people, have a few drinks (or more), eat some food and get stuck into conversations. Unlike ordinary parties, if you run out of things to say, you can always stare at, and comment on, the art. First up is Nurazmal Yusoff's Satire in Paint which opened at Pace Gallery on 6 May 2009. For now, this series of posts is called 'Whose who?', which is sorta punny, but we know you can think of something better.  Congratulations to the artist and please, get down to the gallery to see the work for yourself! Btw, our images come fully captioned, so you can remember the name of that oh-so-interesting person you met briefly. We know your weaknesses, and we try to be helpful, in our own little way - SC]

Dude, at 26,000 sq feet of exhibition space (1000 over works), it really is the biggest at the moment.

Hi Farouk – thanks for stopping by! We’re trying to keep up with all the openings so there will be more pics, and also working on transcribing the interview with you. Do keep checking in. Cheers! Sharon
