Young Muslims Project (YMP) & The Knowledge & Arts Tour 2009

YMP is an international urban community group, initiated by Malaysian youth, consisting of over 1000 youth members with ages ranging from 17 – 30 years old, sharing the common purpose of wanting to learn more deeply about Islam. They also serve as a platform for the youth to interact with each other while connecting them to sources of knowledge such as role models, speakers and scholars.

The Knowledge & Arts Tour 2009 is aimed at attracting a wide range of youth, including those who feel Islam isn’t relevant or ‘cool’ enough to be part of their lives. In addition to reaching out to these youth, YMP aim to kick start the process of shaping well rounded Muslim youth who will act as role models for the next generation of youth and serve the needs of every layer of society, especially in this multi-racial & multi-religious world.
