ARTERI began a year ago as an independent initiative by like-minded curators and artists with two purposes in mind.
1) To encouraging exchange between various art communities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
2) To make art approachable and accessible to a wider audience.
ARTERI is read by curators, artists, gallerists, dealers, collectors, critics, students, as well as art enthusiasts. On average, we receive 10,000 unique visitors a month and growing!
The tremendous support that was shown to ARTERI over the past one year has encouraged us to take it to the next level. In order to maintain our blog, ARTERI will need to rely on financial support from many sources.
Your on-going support is critical to the growth and development of our not-for-profit initiative. Proceeds will be channeled into website maintenance, hiring a full time editor/manager, develop editorial projects and new media content, strategic marketing and audience development, collaboration with regional partners, as well as running our collateral programmes.
Your generosity will also make the enjoyment and understanding of contemporary art possible to the broadest range of visitors. After all, the online world is the limit! Together, we can work towards nurturing a supportive, critical and inspiring environment for artistic growth.
